Battle Elementary School set out to create a play space where every student could feel welcome, included, and engaged. The playground project, completed just in time for the 2025-2026 school year, wasn’t just about adding new equipment — it was about reimagining what recess could look like for all children, regardless of their abilities.

From initial design consultation to final installation, our team worked closely with the school and community partners to prioritize accessibility and inclusion at every level. We added more wheelchair-accessible elements, sensory pieces, and age-specific play goals for a final design that supports physical, cognitive, and social inclusion for all children.

Unique Features

  • Musical play elements help kids explore sound, rhythm, and movement
  • Community-led design reflects accessibility with a partially ramped play structure, wide pathways and inclusive play components
  • A variety of climbing structures, swings, ropes, and more keep kids occupied
  • Covered shade structures keep kids comfortable and equipment cool

This was our largest project yet, and it included four items we had never had installed in our school district. All Inclusive Rec and Kendra were a tremendous help and always available — from putting together a scope of work to bidding to ordering and shipping to install and final billing.
